At Endeavour, we measure our success
by the success achieved by our clients as they strive
to improve performance in their oganisations. Here are
a few examples of that success.
 |
Success
in technical training
We have been curriculum partners with RailCorp (formerly
NSW StateRail) since 1999 and assisted them with
their highly successful transport provision for
the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The Endeavour Training
and Development team has created many different
rail training programs since that time and we are
proud of the multi-award winning quality of the
work we have provided on their behalf. Our award-winning
training programs include technical and safety training
as well as customer service and other people skills
and we also create lesson plans to support the use
of the $20m virtual reality learning centres and
driving simulators. The results speak for themselves
and we can attribute millions of dollars in savings
and improved safety performance in specific areas
to our interventions.

Emergency
response training
Our reputation for creating excellence in adult
learning led Sydney Ferries’ Corporation to
engage us to develop training in emergency response
procedures for all ferry staff. This includes creating
an emergency simulation on board a ferry. The first
round of this training was rolled out to all 650
ferry staff and a second round that incorporates
the simulation received excellent reviews and improved
the safety values and performance of staff.
| I’ve never before
met anyone who so often gets things so right
first time. Endeavour truly learned our business
and became an essential partner in our goals.
They deliver true value for money. |

Risk
Management training
Aon Risk Management Services engaged Endeavour to
assist with the development of training programs
to enhance the risk management expertise of their
public sector clients. The results have been promising
and have led Aon to engage us on other associated
projects. We are happy to assist them in their new
directions in learning.
On a similar front, the NSW Department
of Community Services introduced a risk assessment
methodology to non-government agencies which offer
emergency crisis housing to the community. We were
engaged to deliver training to some of these agencies
so that they have an appropriate method for assessing
risks during intake interviews with their potential
clients. The program met with wonderful approval
and we were able to influence the intake process
to improve safety and security for all. Although
the methodology was intended for flexible adoption,
many participants have reported immediate adoption
with few if any alterations. The consequential improvements
to risk in their agencies has also been heartily
endorsed.

Improvements
to taxi services
The NSW Taxi Council is responsible for training
of drivers who provide accessible transport for
people with disabilities. In particular, the training
program for ‘Wheelchair Accessible Taxi services
(WATS)’ was of concern to the Taxi Council.
They held concerns about the degree of practice
provided in certain aspects of the program and the
way in which assessment was providing valid and
reliable results about the competence of the participants
who were then providing an important service to
people otherwise restricted in their mobility. The
Taxi Council engaged Endeavour to improve the program
and the results we achieved were immediately apparent.
| Endeavour demonstrated
a highly professional approach, delivering quality
documents in an extremely timely fashion and
in accordance with all undertakings and costs
as originally quoted. We will have no hesitation
to engage Endeavour Training and Development
for future training development requirements.

Contract
administration training
The New South Wales bus system is undergoing dramatic
change and every public transport operator is to
sign new and more detailed contracts for the provision
of transport services. The Ministry of Transport
administers the new contracts and the particular
staff involved required training in the detail of
the contract and in issues that might arise during
the 7-year contract term. Endeavour Training and
Development was engaged to design and deliver this
training and our work met with approval at the highest
levels of the organisation and has led to reform
in the contract itself. The training we provided
helped to make the transition to the new contract
regime more efficient and effective for all concerned.
| "It has been a pleasure
working with Endeavour on an emerging, complex
project. Endeavour was able to quickly understand
the project, distil the issues and develop a
comprehensive package which could be assimilated
and applied by our staff. Endeavour Training
and Development also displayed a particularly
flexible attitude which was refreshing from
a client’s perspective. They were only
too happy to adjust their development and delivery
to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome as
the circumstances changed." |

Other
Testimonials
We understand that when a new client engages us
for the first time, there is an element of faith
that we will deliver. So, on what do they base that?
The answer is our reputation. We consistently win
awards for our work and when a client asks us for
a new direction in learning, they can rest easy
in the knowledge that they have a strong team on
their side. Often this develops into a relationship
that lasts for years.
To illustrate the regard in which
we are held, here are just a few examples of what
others say about us:
| Julie interpreted
our sophisticated requirements and compiled
content perfectly suited to the audience. The
feedback on both the content and session planning
has superceded that received from any previous
training program. Everything was delivered within
time and budget expectations. |

| Thank you for the opportunity
to participate in the profoundly exciting and
challenging learning experience of the “101
Creative Ideas” program. I have attended
a variety of development programs but none has
had the impact or stimulation of your program,
and I don’t believe any have had the significant
ongoing behavioural change which I believe will
be a result from last week. I know that I will
never again be able to walk into a training
environment without thinking about how I can
make it more stimulating for my participants.

| The activities in the course
were excellent and innovative and were well
incorporated into the sessions. If anyone asks
I will tell them to definitely attend the course
as it is the most beneficial course I have attended.
