Endeavour Director, Kevin Lohan, returned to the United States for his fourth ASTD International conference and Exposition in June of this year. For the second time in Atlanta Kevin was a speaker at the conference and presented his thoughts on competency-based training in Australia as part of an Asian region focus on the issue.
Kevin was also there to represent the Australian arm of the ASTD Global Network of which he is a committee member.
As a conference participant he also gained the insights of many other international speakers at the event and formed great networks with global network leaders from around the world and in particular formed relationships with those from Portugal, Poland, Mexico, Denmark and South Africa.
Of particualr excitement to Kevin was his personal invitation to the ASTD awards dinner where he was seated alongside Ed Scannell, Donald Kirkpatrick and Jack Philips. "These three men have contributed a great deal to our profession and it was really wonderful to meet them and speak with them", Kevin says.
